Made from 100% natural, organic and sustainably sourced natural coir pith-based substrate. These coir compost blocks are ideal for indoor planting, urban gardens, balconies and patios. Or, when you just need a smaller amount of compost at a time for pots and containers.

Coir compost increases the porosity of the potting mix, which helps to keep the soil loose and airy helping in better root growth. This results in better plant growth and higher yield.

This nutrient-free, ph balanced coir compost makes it ideal for seeding a variety of plants. Just add fertiliser or blend of other compost should you need to.

Coir compost in 6 convenient individual blocks. Easy to store and use in smaller gardens patios and balconies.

Simply put a single compressed Coco Coir – Coco Grow brick in a container.
Add 2 – 3L warm water for each brick and multiply if using more than 1 at a time (cold is fine, but requires additional wait time).
Let it sit until the water is absorbed for approx 8 – 10 mins per 9L brick – a good time for tea!
Fluff up the compost until there is plenty of air in the mix and any clumps have been fully broken up.
You’re ready to get planting or adding to your pet’s bedding.

Tips to speed up expansion:

Slowly pour the water directly onto the centre of the block so water is absorbed from the centre outwards.
Ensure the block is fully submerged in the water, rather than sat on top.

Tips for pet owners:

Water quantities can be adjusted to change the moisture content of the coir to suit your vivarium, pet and conditions.
